Summer Starts Here

Make the most out of Summer.

At Milken, your passion is our purpose. We strive to bring our summer participants the most innovative programming across multiple disciplines and modalities of learning.

Explore Summer School

The Milken Summer Session provides students with the following opportunities:

  • to focus on one subject deeply while building meaningful relationships with peers and teachers.

  • to explore an area of learning during the summer that otherwise would be too much of a course load during the school year

  • to fulfill a graduation requirement, creating the opportunity for further elective exploration during the school year

  • to fulfill a prerequisite for more advanced learning during the school year

  • to review and reinforce challenging topics from the previous school year

Athletics Clinics

Athletic Clinics provide student-athletes the following:

  • Clinics offer team-building and skill development in a fun, interactive environment.

  • Clinics provide invaluable experience and skill development to develop teamwork and camaraderie and enhance sports-specific skills.

  • Participation in Athletics Clinics does not guarantee a spot on the team and is not required to participate on an athletic team.

Innovation Camp

Do you like to explore, innovate, problem-solve and create? Do you love to work on fun projects with your friends? Join us in the Guerin Family Institute and Fab Lab for one or two weeks of design, problem-solving, creativity, and fun!

  • Open to students from Milken and across Los Angeles entering grades 6-8 in fall 2024.

  • We will offer two courses per week, offering guided lessons and hands-on projects. The morning session will be from 8:30AM to 11:00AM, and the afternoon session will be from 11:30AM to 2:00PM.

  • These sessions are facilitated by our experienced Upper School Milken students and faculty in the Innovation and Fabrication Department. Students will have opportunities to become problem-finders & problem-solvers; they will design, build, iterate and refine. Students can expect to experience 3D design, computer-aided design (CAD), and use our 3D printers, laser cutters, large format printers, and more.

  • Themed weeks including Theme Park Week, Storytelling & Shark Tank!
